The Sir Henry Royce Foundation is financed entirely by donations and gifts in cash or in kind. Deductions for income tax purposes are available for gifts of $2.00 or more, and the Foundation is exempt from income tax. Receipts are issued for tax purposes. Donations in kind must satisfy the Foundation's Collection Policy, and if tax deductibility is sought, must meet the guidelines of the Australian Government’s Department of Communications and the Arts’ Cultural Gifts Program. All donations are recorded in permanent documents held by the Foundation, maintained by Gilbert Ralph MBE OAM, and are acknowledged by letter.

Whilst the Trustees are more than happy to accept donations of significance, small donations on a regular basis are also welcomed. It is also possible to specify donations to the Foundation in a Will, and the Foundation will provide on request the appropriate form of wording for this purpose.

In regard to finances generally, the Foundation depends on its supporters for the ability to continue with all of its activities, which are of considerable benefit to Rolls-Royce and Bentley enthusiasts throughout Australia and the rest of the world.
